A self assessment tool is for companies who are committed to upholding social and environmental standards in their operations.

The Global Compact self assessment tool was co-developed by the Confederation of Danish Industry, the Industrialization Fund for Developing Countries, the Danish Business Authority and the Danish Institute for Human Rights in association with the UN Global Compact Office.

The UN Global Compact seeks to promote responsible corporate citizenship so that business can help realise the United Nations Secretary-General’s vision: a more sustainable and inclusive global economy.

Joining the UN Global Compact is a commitment to the initiative’s ten universal principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.

The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest voluntary corporate citizenship initiative. With several thousand participants from 130 countries, the UN Global Compact has emerged as a truly global initiative with a strong presence in both North and South.
