    In a long-awaited advisory opinion on State’s obligations regarding climate change, the International Court of Justice says that failing to meet climate obligations might violate international law. Post-doctoral researcher at Danish Institute for Human Rights, Megan Donald, believes the advisory opinion will be important in holding states accountable for failing to protect human rights from the harmful impacts of climate change.
