Teaching human rights at the health and service assistant programme

Research of to what extent is human rights, including non-discrimination and equal treatment, part of the curriculum and teaching at the programme.

Our study shows that teaching in international human rights norms and principles that are relevant to the social and health professional field is generally not a mandatory part of the curriculum. This includes the principle of equal treatment. Nor is it clear on the basis of the data material of the study, to what extent the individual's rights are being taught.

The report is in Danish, but contains an English summary on page 78.

We strive to make the pdf versions of our publications etc. accessible for screen readers. If you experience any problems, please contact Digital Editor Stine Juhl Nielsen on stni@humanrights.dk
