Selected projects

  • Leaving no one behind is the core principle of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, representing the commitment of all UN member states to eradicate poverty, terminate exclusion and discrimination as well as reduce inequalities – all being obstacles to the realisation of human rights for all.
  • The 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development seeks to realise human rights for all. For this reason and due to their nature as independent bodies with the mandate to promote and protect human rights, we consider national human rights institutions (NHRIs) key actors in the realisation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • To provide guidance regarding the monitoring and implementation of specific sustainable development goals (SDGs) or particular aspects of them, we use human rights-based approach to development.
  • SDG 4 emphasises human rights as part of quality education. New framework can help states keep track of their implementation of human rights education
  • Our vision is to leverage data and guidance provided by human rights monitoring bodies to strengthen accountability in sustainable development processes at the global, regional, and national levels.
  • We believe that human rights and Agenda 2030 are intertwined, providing guidance on how to build more sustainable and resilient societies.
