SDG goal 10: Global inequality

The project will follow UN and other international debates linking global inequality, the SDGs and human rights.

The Sustainable Development Goals are being promoted with a strong emphasis on the notion of “leaving no one behind.” This means that a focus on human rights and non-discrimination has become embedded much more in the framework for international development than what we have witnessed in the past.

Furthermore, the SDGs contains a specific goal focusing on inequality within and between countries (Goal 10).

Addressing global inequality is a requirement for implementing the SDGs and will determine their success or failure between now and 2030.

The research will follow UN and other international debates linking global inequality, the SDGs and human rights and conduct analyses of these matters.
