Prisons and detention centers

The project analyses the use of e.g. solitary confinement in Danish prisons and its human rights implications.

The use of force and solitary confinement ordered by prisons authorities has increased in line with a political desire that there must be order and discipline in Danish prisons and detention centers. Likewise, more inmates are denied parole. This project analyses the human rights implications.
