Human rights and platforms

Research project focused on the specific human rights challenges related to the rise of internet giants and digital platforms.

As part of project, staff at Google and Facebook are interviewed, focusing on framing, sense-making and governance of rights such as privacy and freedom of expression. The project has already led to a number of publications and will in 2019 result in the book Human Rights in the Age of Platforms (MIT Press).
