UPR Denmark 2016

List of selected recommendations – revised version

This report has been compiled by the Danish Institute for Human Rights – Denmark’s National Human Rights Institution (DIHR) for the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of Denmark in 2016.

The report contains an overview of selected recommendations concerning various human rights issues in Denmark and Greenland. The report should be read in combination with the two compilations from the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and the national report from Denmark and Greenland.

The purpose of this collection of issues is to provide an overview of selected concerns, to enlighten the dialogue surrounding the Danish and Greenlandic UPR process and to increase the quality of the recommendations given to Denmark. The publication follows the structure of the two compilations prepared by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights on stakeholder recommendations and official UN documents.

We strive to make the pdf versions of our publications etc. accessible for screen readers. If you experience any problems, please contact Digital Editor Stine Juhl Nielsen on stni@humanrights.dk
