Socially and ethnically divided schools - schools for children in vulnerable housing areas

A new study on schooling and socio-economic background on students from vulnerable housing areas show that these students are attending some of the most socially and ethnically divided schools in Denmark.

The report 'Socially and ethnically divided schools' examines which schools children from vulnerable housing areas attend and what socio-economic background the children come from.

Children in vulnerable housing areas often attend a primary school, where there is a predominance of students from socially disadvantaged homes. Often, many of their classmates will belong to an ethnic minority group.
