Persons with disabilities in the labor market

The Institute takes a closer look on the problems within the labor market for persons with disabilities, to help increase employment.

Persons with disabilities have significantly lower employment rates than persons without handicap.

With this analysis, the Department of Equal Rights looks more closely at what barriers exist in relation to increasing employment for people with disabilities.

The analysis shows that even though Denmark introduced a ban on discrimination on the labor market in 2004, there is still some way to go before the legislation works satisfactorily.

This report is in Danish but contains an English summary on page 5.
