DIHR enters one-year partnership with Mondi Group

Through this collaboration, the DIHR will support the Mondi Group to mainstream human rights in its operations and internal processes, such as its grievance mechanism, and gain a better understanding of its potential and actual human rights risks and impacts across its operations and supply chains, with a particular emphasis on the intersection of environmental impacts and human rights. The DIHR expects to help Mondi Group increase awareness internally on what human rights mean for the company and better communicate what Mondi Group is doing to understand, avoid and address potential and actual human rights risks and impacts to external stakeholders.

DIHR hopes to further the Mondi Group’s commitment to transparency by publicly communicating about its human rights work, raising awareness among key internal and external stakeholders and inspiring other actors in the industry to promote human rights due diligence.
