Deputy executive director becomes interim director

Deputy director Louise Holck will become acting executive director when Jonas Christoffersen leaves the Institute at the end of March.

After 11 years as director of the Danish Institute for Human Rights, Jonas Christoffersen leaves the Institute on 20 March 2020. For the time being, deputy executive director Louise Holck will be acting executive director until Jonas Christoffersen's replacement is found.

Louise Holck is Master of Law and has been deputy executive director of the Institute's national area since 2012. She has previously been director of the Danish Consumer Authority, head of communication at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation and head of asylum at the Danish Refugee Council.

The position of director of the Danish Institute for Human Rights will be advertised this spring, and the recruitment is expected to be in place before the summer holidays.
