Human rights compliance assessment quick check

The human rights compliance quick check lists some of the most essential human rights issues a company must consider in relation to its activities.
Please note

The quick check is no longer in circulation, as it predates the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and more recent  and relevant guidance on the topic exists. The Human Rights Compliance Assessment, which the Quick Check is based on, is superseded by the Human Rights Indicators for Business open source database.

The human rights compliance assessment (HRCA) Quick Check is a condensed version of a larger HRCA tool, which includes approximately 10 percent of the questions contained in the full HRCA database. The Quick Check allows companies to create a general overview of the human rights risks in their operations.

What is the HRCA?

The Human Rights Compliance Assessment (HRCA) is a diagnostic tool designed to help companies detect potential human rights violations caused by the effect of their operations on employees, local residents and all other stakeholders.

The HRCA has been superseded by the Human Rights Indicators for Business open source database.
