Some of the case stories on this page highlight achievements in transnational cooperation, human rights-based approach to public procurement, process of developing a National Action Plan on business and human rights and a National Baseline Assessment, among others.

Background

These examples were developed following the four regional workshops in theNHRI·EU Capacity Project where participating NHRIs shared the work they were undertaking on business and human rights.

These were then developed in to the examples available below.

The purpose of these publications is to create a platform so NHRIs, businesses, states, civil society organisations and other relevant actors to share knowledge and exchange best practices in the field.

Furthermore, these various initiatives, challenges and achievements become relevant to analyse and compare different NHRIs’ approaches when it comes to engage with business and human rights.
