The Council for the Coordination of Legality and Justice (CCLJ) is a coordinating body created to encourage discussion, analysis and deliberation on matters of common interest for legal and judicial institutions in Mozambique. The Council consists of a number of independent institutions within the justice sector. These institutions are the Supreme Tribunal, the Administrative Tribunal, the Attorney General's Office, and the Ministry of Justice. During the implementation of the vision document process, the CCLJ was enlarged to include the Ministry of the Interior, the Law Reform Commission and the Centre of Legal and Judicial Training.
In practical terms, cooperation between CCLJ and DIHR is based on frequent DIHR missions to Mozambique. DIHR has no presence on the ground in Mozambique.
