Delicate balance in China

In 2010 the work on human rights in China of DIHR was addressed in a book with portraits of ten scholars and activists defending human rights in different areas.The book is called ‘Balancing Act’ referring to the many considerations citizens in China has to take in working with human rights protection. The talks with journalist Gert Holmgård Nielsen was commissioned by the DIHR and they show in detail what human rights people in China think, what motivates them, what risks they encounter and how they cope with these. The book was published in Danish and an English translation will come in 2012.
