Dr. jur. Jonas Christoffersen was appointed Director of the Institute on January 1st, 2009. He is a lawyer with entitlement to plead before the High Court (1998) and previously held the position of acting High Court Judge at the Danish Eastern High Court (2007). Prior to that he was a clerk at the Supreme Court (1999). Jonas Christoffersen has written about 50 juridical articles on national and international human rights (2000-2008). He was awarded the degree of doctor of laws (Dr. juris) on the basis of a dissertation on the European Court of Human Rights (2008).

Margaret Jungk is the founder and Director of the Human Rights & Business Department at the Danish Institute for Human Rights. She specializes in operationalizing human rights standards in commercial, governmental and other organizations, including measuring human rights and social impacts, screening for violations and poor practices, monitoring accountability, and evaluating organizations’ overall performance and strategy.
Margaret holds a PhD in political science, specializing in international human rights law, from the University of Cambridge (UK, 1998), an M.Phil. in international relations from the University of Cambridge (UK, 1993), a fellowship from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel, 1991), and a BA in political science from the University of Kansas (USA, 1990).

Susanne Nour designed DIHRs diversity toolbox for business, consisting of The Compliance Assessment Tool, Guidelines for Diversity Management, a Diversity Workshop Model and The Wheel of Diversity. She is the initiator of the MIA Prize, the only Danish business diversity award. Her field of expertise is anti-discrimination legislation and diversity management. She is the editor and main author of the book “Diversity in the Workplace – When We are Equal but Not The Same”. Nour holds an MA in anthropology from Copenhagen University, is a certified Pathfinder and is trained in systemic process consultancy.
