"2007 was characterized by numerous projects with cooperation partners in Denmark as well as internationally. DIHR staff have been successful in entering into dialogue with those whose rights are infringed upon and those who infringe upon the rights of others; and also in creating a platform for dialogue between both these groups. Throughout all these activities, human rights and democracy have remained in focus, whether they concerned new international projects or new national initiatives. The year also marked DIHR’s 20th Anniversary where we looked to the past as well as to the future with a series of arrangements, publications and a new work structure for the entire institution.
