Methods and tools

The Danish Institute for Human Rights takes point of departure in a concept about partnership, that is, a direct cooperation with local, independent institutions and organizations in civil society. We do this on the basis of a concept about how to employ human rights in practice. The citizens have to know their legal status and rights.
We work both nationally and internationally with NGOs, media, governments and universities about contributing to people’s possibility for active citizenship. The Institute use corresponding tools in the work with Danish and international businesses that apply these methods and thereby use a human rights based approach.
